What Is Biofield Tuning?
Biofield Tuning is a unique, non-medical therapeutic method that uses sound waves produced by tuning forks in the biomagnetic field, or biofield, that surrounds the human body. It is a simple yet powerful method for shifting the rhythms and patterns of the body’s electrical system. The coherent input of a tuning fork gently supports the body in recognizing and correcting its own vibrational imbalances. It is simply a matter of the practitioner finding the noise and resistance in the biofield and staying with it until the body auto corrects.
Developed by pioneering researcher and practitioner Eileen Day McKusick, the method is based on her 20 years of clinical observations into the Biofield Anatomy in the USA. It is a simple, non-invasive and efficient method that can produce profound and powerful outcomes.
A Biofield Tuning session can be experienced in person or at a distance, singularly or in a group with one of our certified practitioners in our Find A Practitioner page.
For those interested in becoming a Biofield Tuning Practitioner, certification programs are available in Australia either as a stand-alone practice or integrated into an existing Massage, Reiki, Chiropractic, Bowen Therapy, Health Coaching, or other holistic therapy background. Please see our training schedule in Australia for further details.
How Does It Work?
The premise of Biofield Tuning is that the body knows it’s own ‘factory settings’, and any coherant feedback will give the body the information it needs to reset itself, eg 174Hz is optimal.
During a Biofield Tuning session, a client lies fully clothed on a treatment table. The practitioner activates a tuning fork and uses this to scan the energy field. It is a matter of feeling and listening for resistance or turbulence in the client’s energy field. When the practitioner notices an area of turbulence she/he will continue to activate the tuning fork and hold it in that exact spot. Research suggests the body’s own energy uses the vibrational frequency of the tuning fork to ‘tune’ or rebalance itself. In short, the disharmony resolves itself and the sense of resistance changes.
A trained practitioner uses the ‘Biofield Anatomy Map’ to pinpoint areas of disharmony which are linked to a certain age and memory. For example, the practitioner might notice stuck energy at age 12, when the client’s much loved grandmother passed away. Holding an activated tuning fork in the area of a traumatic memory or another difficult time period produces repeatable predictable outcomes. The sound input helps the body digest and integrate unprocessed experiences. As the biofield disharmony subsides, clients generally report feeling ‘lighter’ and a diminishment or resolution of their symptoms.’ For more information please visit – www.biofieldtuning.com
