First Aid With Tuning Forks

Online & In-person Workshop

This workshop will focus on the practical application of the tuning forks for a range of different disorders, that have been included in our two First Aid ebooks. There will be a theoretical discussion on disorders within the systems associated with sense organs, digestive, respiratory, paediatric, bowel, bladder, hormonal, addictions, skin and menstrual. Practical demonstration will follow before participants get the opportunity to apply the tuning forks on the body.

NOTE: Treatment for emotional turmoil, musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries are not part of this workshop. These have been given their own dedicated workshops. See ‘Tuning Forks for Musculoskeletal Complaints and Sports Injuries Workshop’ and ‘Emotional Disorders, Stress and Mental Health Workshop’ for further information on the content for these.

The Traditional Chinese Medicine understanding of the body is that it is an integrated whole. Nothing stands isolated -everything is connected. The primary systems that govern these connections are the Organs and the Meridians. Even a basic understanding of these two systems gives participants a much better grasp on the various connections that exist in the body. These connections underpin much of how we treat First Aid disorders.

“This workshop was written in order to give participants a practial outlet to practice their tuning fork use ‘on the body’, because of ongoing requests from tuning fork students and practitioners who were still learning their point location and who wanted a ‘starting point’ for their treatments (David Hartmann).

“The body has a remarkable ability to heal itself which is supported by the ability of the tuning forks to remove tension and disperse stagnation. The tuning forks instantaneously alter the body’s biochemistry and clear stagnant energy, bringing the nervous system, the immune system and the organs into harmonic balance” (Toni Cross).

As with all of our workshops, we will also delve into some of the Mysteries of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
