You do not have to have attended any of my previous tuning fork workshops. Each workshop stands alone. They will also become online options by the end of 2025
Descriptions:
In this workshop I am excited to present the ‘Chinese Medicine Channels & Point Location Activations’. Participants will be taken through each of the 12 main channels (or meridians), along with key acupuncture points best activated using tuning forks.
In Chinese Medicine, the channels are considered the pathways to/from the organs. Every channel is named after the organ they have the greatest ‘Love/Hate’ relationship with. Having said that, you will learn that every channel has a relationship with several organs in addition to the one they are named after. Channels are also considered Yīn or Yáng and have partnerships with a range of other channels in the body. These relationships essentially provide a balance point that the body tries to maintain for optimum health and wellbeing.
Acupuncture points are the main sites on every channel that are the most active areas to stimulate health and healing in/on the body. With over 1000 points on the body there are lots of locations to learn. Interestingly, most acupuncturists probably only know 50 of these points off by heart. This is good news for you because we will learn a lot of these points in this workshop.
So, what are the ‘Chinese Medicine Channels & Points Activations’ that you will learn in this workshop?
· Lung (Yīn) and Large Intestine (Yáng) channels and points
· Pericardium (Yīn) and Triple Energiser/Sān Jiāo (Yáng) channels and points
· Heart (Yīn) and Small Intestine (Yáng) channels and points
· Spleen (Yīn) and Stomach (Yáng) channels and points
· Liver (Yīn) and Gall Bladder (Yáng) channels and points
· Kidney (Yīn) and Urinary Bladder (Yáng) channels and points.
Participants will be given some theoretical background along with practical demonstrations. You will then split off into groups to practice the activations. Across the three days, you will be shown various ways to apply the forks to the channels and points; you will be shown how to use the different forks (in your kit) on the body, along with crystal application and a combination of different techniques.
There are literally hundreds of different activations that have been created over the past 2000 years. This workshop is designed to give you the most clinically relevant activations regarding tuning forks and sound healing. Ones that can be immediately incorporated into your tuning fork repertoire.
